ProSphere Awarded Maintenance, Operations and Enhancement for VA Real Property Systems: CAMS, CAI, CCIDB
ProSphere was awarded a follow-on contract under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) vehicle for the Office of Information & Technology Maintenance, Operations and Enhancement Support for VA Real Property Systems: Capital Asset Management System (CAMS), Capital Asset Inventory System (CAI), and Construction Capital Integrated Database (CCIDB). ProSphere will continue to provide maintenance, operations and enhancement support for the suite of applications used to track VA's portfolio of real property assets.
“This is the second recomplete award of this work since our original 2012 win,” said Kevin Rice, President. “This award acknowledges ProSphere’s commitment and detailed insight into VA Real Property Systems (CAMS, CAI, and CCIDB) during our six-year tenure as the prime contractor for operation and maintenance of the systems.”
Veterans Affairs owns more than 6,000 buildings and more than 38,000 acres of land. Each year GSA asks the Department to update the Federal Real Property Profile by providing data on energy use, repair costs, facilities conditions, and several other factors. Veterans Affairs uses a suite of IT tools to track its portfolio of real property assets, such as buildings and leases, land parcels, and structures, and their energy use.
